InDesign Presentation Lesson 6

This workshop is about refining a presentation document, we learned how to make a presentation look cleaner and organised. Using photoshop, we cleaned up our images by removing unwanted lines and colours left from scanning or taking photographs.

Using a picture of a drawing, we used tone contrast to make the black and white stand out more.

We also used levels to increase whiteness to remove any fine lines and rough drawings. As well as increasing the black levels to make the outlines darker.

Exporting an image for web.

After cleaning up the scans and photographs, we learned how to set up a document in InDesign, using rulers to keep our images and text tidy, as well as consistent throughout the presentation.

Placing an image in the guidelines and making it fit proportionally.

We also learned how to place a video file in this document, including several options which we could apply to video.
